SILAS

SILAS is an acoustic data acquisition and processing system for mapping of sediment / silt characteristics and sub seabed structures.

Can be used to determine the nautical depth in ports and waterways, environmental surveys, sand search projects, pipe line and cable route surveys, wreck and ammunition detection.

SILAS can work with any echo sounder (in particular ODOM), is easy to use, and interfaces with common survey software (QPS). 

DENSITUNE

DENSITUDE is  a silt density probe.

It is an accurate, easy to use system  to determine the internal density of liquid layers of silt.

The measurement system is based on the 'tuning fork' principle, where one fork leg resonates at a specific frequency and the other leg responds with a frequency depending on the density of the medium in which is is inserted.

The vertical density profile is measured while the probe is lowered.
